As the name implies, the reformer is a piece of equipment that can be used to ‘reform’ your body. It is one of the most capable pieces of equipment in our Pilates studio, allowing you to lengthen and strengthen at the same time while working your entire body. It comprises a bed-like frame with a flat framework (carriage) that rolls back and forth. Springs are linked to the carriage and may be changed to provide varying degrees of resistance based on the activity being done. There is an infinite number of exercises for all body parts that can be performed while sitting, standing, lying, or kneeling. Our Reformer equipment is also adjustable for different body sizes and levels.
